European elections6-9 June 2024How to vote in Belgium
This section will provide you with information regarding the European elections in 2024, including voting procedures and deadlines for registration, if you are an EU citizen who lives outside the European Union or in another EU country. If your country allows it, you can vote for candidates from your own country. You also have the option to vote for candidates in the EU country you live in.

You are eligible to vote in the European elections in Belgium if you are:
- at least 16 years of age on election day
- a Belgian or an EU citizen with a legal residence in Belgium, or a Belgian citizen residing abroad
- registered as a voter by the deadline (31 March 2024 for European citizens residing in Belgium and 29 February 2024 for Belgian citizens residing abroad)
- not banned from voting due to a judicial decision

You need to register on beforehand.
